Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and a part of SSC's Board of Directors since the year 2011 she was one of the original co-artistic directors of Speech of Fire. In her role as the Artistic Director of SSC She was also the company's composer/musician/text coach as well as costume/set/music design. Though she typically led the acting group but in the final year of work as an actor in SSC King Lear, she took on the role of director and light designer.
