The show was relaunched as in the CBS soap Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. Her film debut was in the role of Girl 6 in 1996. Later, she appeared as a character in New York Undercover, and The District. Navedo played on Double Take, an action-comedy film that debuted in 2001. The action drama Washington Heights was released the following year. Between 2001 and 2004 Navedo was a frequent character on the NBC crime drama Law & Order as Detective Ana Cordova. Then, he was a part of Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages as well as Blue Bloods. Navedo has also appeared in films such as El Cantante, Remember Me and many others.
